I'd like to purchase another UAD-1 card for my empty 4th PCI slot (G4 dual 1.25 MDD). However, when moving my current UAD card from the 3rd slot to the 4th (to test functionality), no plugins*as well, my 4th ram slot is also funky (memory is recognized but soon causes problems) could this be related?
One way to verify each module is to install only one in the front memory slot and power up to see the results. Then remove and try same module in the rear memory slot. Then remove and perform same two tests with the other module. If the results appear to be totally random, either you're not fulling seating the modules, or one or both are faulty.
